The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine sent large quantities of water and ice to the visitors of the shrine of Imam al-Hadi and Imam al-'Askari (peace be upon them) in the city of Samarra.
The official of the guidance and support division in the Religious Affairs Department, Sheikh Haider al-'Aredhi, said that "the holy shrine sent a number of vehicles to deliver water and ice to visitors to the shrine in the city of Samarra, because this year it witnessed the influx of large numbers of visitors from inside and outside Iraq".
He added that "the Treasury has been strengthened, which will contribute to providing service to visitors, and the distribution was through fixed and mobile outlets, including service processions and visitors".
According to al-'Aredhi," Providing this service was based on the guidance of the general secretariat of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, supporting the efforts of the Holy Shrine of Imam al-Hadi and Imam al-'Askari (peace be upon both of them), "stressing that "it will continue until the end of the ceremonies of the Ziyarat Arba'een".
The city of Samarra is witnessing the influx of thousands of visitors from the surrounding areas, as well as Arab and foreign visitors, to perform the Ziyarat of this holy shrine before heading to perform the Ziyarat Arba'een ceremonies in Karbala.
