Prophet Adam (AS) said to God:

O’ God, You have allowed Iblis to dominate my children, and gave him the power of temptation. What have you granted to me and my children? Allah (SWT) said: For you and your children I granted that a sin has one punishment, and a good deed, is rewarded tenfold.  Prophet Adam (AS) said: O’ God, grant me more than this. God said: I have left opened the door of repentance until the last moments of your lives. Prophet Adam (AS) said: O’ God, grant me more than this. God said: I forgive and have no fear. Prophet Adam (AS) said: It is enough for me [1].
