Imam Ridha/Reza (AS) narrated from Imam Ali (AS) who said: Abu Ayyub Khalid Bin Zaid came to the Prophet of Islam (PBUH) and said: O’ the Prophet of Allah (SWT), please offer me a short advice, maybe I can keep it. The Prophet (PBUH) said: I recommend five deeds to you.
- Do not be hopeful of what is in the hands of people, indeed this is true independence.
- Avoid greed which is the real poverty and need.
- Perform Salaat like it is your last Salaat.
- Avoid an act which makes you to apologise for it.
- Like for your brother whatever you like for yourself [1].
