A young Christian woman from Sweden has converted to Islam in Imam Reza (AS) holy shrine.
“I decided to come to Iran to understand Islam and Shia sect better”, she said, adding that she had already been acquainted with the religion through a Muslim friend.
Noting that she has visited many different cities around the world, this new Muslim described Mashhad as a place where she always intended to visit and a city and that through a special kind of inner power. She also added that information given by the experts of Astan Quds Razavi’s Management of Non-Iranian Pilgrims’ Affairs made her more familiar with the religion and her final decision to convert to Islam was made following religious consultations.
“An inner power absorbed me to Mashhad so I could find the truth and chose the best way for my life”, said the Swedish woman.
Cultural and religious gifts were offered at the end of the ceremony held by Management of Non-Iranian Pilgrims’ Affairs in Razavi Complex’s Jomhouri Islami Courtyard.
