The administrations of the visitors' cities and the service complexes of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine have announced their readiness to receive visitors of the Arba'een of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), after conducting comprehensive maintenance works to all the facilities by the staff of the Engineering Maintenance Department at the holy shrine.
The outer Host complex of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, located on the road (Najaf - Karbala), has announced the launch of an expansion and development campaign of all its service facilities, to announce today, the completion of the works to start welcoming to visitors since few days.
Also the officials of the service complexes; al-'Alqami complex located on the road Babylon - Karbala, complex of Oum al-Baneen (peace be upon her) located on the road Najaf - Karbala and the Sheikh al-Kulayni complex located on the road Baghdad - Karbala, have all announced their full readiness to receive the visitors whose numbers are expected to be higher than last year.
The preparations included:
1- Preparation all the halls of accommodation and service.
2- Providing a large number of blankets and mattresses.
3- Maintaining all roads within these complexes.
4- Carrying out a large campaign to plant the complexes' gardens.
5- Preparation of foodstuffs for feeding the visitors.
6- Preparing additional places for the reception of visitors during peak days and providing them with all amenities for the visitors.
7 - Opening medical detachments in coordination with the relevant authorities.
- Maintaining all toilets and bathrooms.
- Maintaining air conditioners and refrigeration equipment.
10 - Coordinating with the responsible body to send volunteers to work in the mentioned complexes.
- Conducting maintenance works for its electrical, fire, alarm and other systems.
In addition to other works that included the maintenance of the bathroom complexes scattered inside and outside Karbala, as well as the preparation of other places to accommodate the visitors such as schools and Hussaynyat that were previously booked, in addition to some work sites of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine that will be used for this purpose.
