The Department of Religious Affairs at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine has launched its preaching project prepared for the pilgrims heading to commemorate the Arba'een of Imam al-Hussayn and of his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them). A large number of Sayed and Sheikhs as well as volunteers are going to execute it in stations put along the main roads leading to the holy city of Karbala, which implementation is overseen by the Hawza of Najaf with the blessings of the Supreme Religious Authority.

These stations are spread along the roads taken by the visitors from the provinces of Najaf, Babylon and Baghdad, as well as in the service complexes of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine and some of the processions.

The aim of this project is to provide educational and awareness services, such as answering religious questions in Fiqh and faith and others. The preachers organize congregational prayers, distribute religious publications and leaflets about the Ziyarat, as well as copies of the text of the Ziyarat Arba'een. They also give advices to the visitors and hold continuous religious lectures on a daily basis.
