MWM LEADERS MEET AFGHAN AMBASSADOR TO OFFER CONDOLENCES OVER KABUL TRAGEDY

A high-level delegation of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslim led by its political affairs head called on Afghanistan’s acting Ambassador to Pakistan in Islamabad where the MWM delegates offered condolences over irreparable loss of precious lives of schoolchildren in a suicide terrorist attack on an educational centre in Kabul Shia neighbourhood.

Asad Abbas Naqvi-led MWM delegation comprised of Allama Iqbal Behishti, Allama Abdul Khaliq Asadi, Nisar Faizi and other officials. They met acting ambassador Zartusht Shams at Afghan embassy. 


They also conveyed MWM chief Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari’s condolence message to Afghan government. MWM condemned the brutal terrorist attack on Maktab Mehdi-e-Mauood, an educational centre in Shia neighborhood in Kabul where more than 50 schoolchildren were reportedly martyred in suicide bombing by takfiri terrorists. 


They offered fateha for departed souls and prayed for the martyrs and injured. They said that Pakistani nation, including MWM love brotherly neighbouring Islamic country Afghanistan and its people and wants strong friendly and brotherly ties with Afghan nation. They said that takfiri terrorism pose threat to the entire Muslim world, let alone Afghanistan or Pakistan. They called for cooperation of the neighbouring countries in fight against takfiri terrorism. 


Afghanistan’s acting ambassador thanked the MWM delegation and hailed teir sentiments. He assured that Afghanistan government and nation too was sincere in close relations with Pakistan.
