Imam Ali (AS) narrated from the Prophet of Islam (PBUH) who said:

Do not cut off the words of the one who asks you for help. Let him/her explain her grievance and inform you of his/her situation [1]. Imam Ali (AS) also narrated from the Prophet (PBUH) who said: Avoid bothering people and this in itself is a Sadaqah which you are paying on your own behalf.
