Imam Ali (AS) looked at a man and saw sign of fear in him and asked him:

What are you afraid of? That man replied: I fear God. Imam Ali (AS) said: O’ the servant of Allah (SWT), fear your sins and Divine Justice about the cruelty and oppression of which you have committed against the (other) servants of God. Obey God, and after that do not fear God because Allah (SWT) does not oppress anyone and never punishes anyone more than he/she deserve [1].
