It is narrated from the Prophet of Islam (PBUH) who said: Three destructive characteristics for people are:

1. A kind of Bokhl (stinginess; unwilling to give or allow a thing to be given to anyone) which the (stingy) person is obedient to.
2. A kind of inappropriate desire of the soul which the human being is obedient to.
3. The person sees himself/herself and all his/her own actions through pride and vanity [1].
