It is narrated that one day the Prophet of Islam (PBUH) told his companions:
At the moment, a man will come here who is the resident of heaven. Then a man from Ansaar who was wiping off the water of Wudhu from his face arrived and greeted everyone. The next and third day also the Prophet (PBUH) repeated the same sentence and the same man came forward. Abdullah Ibn Amr Ibn Aas followed that man and said: I quarreled with my father and vowed not to go home for three days; can you take me to your house during this period? That man replied: There is no problem. Abdullah did not notice any particular prayers in those three nights from that man, except whenever in bed he changed sides praised God and only woke up for morning prayers (Salaat).
In that period I used to here nice words from him. At the end of third day, his deeds appeared insignificant to me and I told him that I had no problem with my father and I just wanted to find out how he became heavenly. That man called me and said: I do not have any special deeds or prayers, but know that I am not jealous about any Muslim and do not have any jealousy or hatred in my heart about any brother in religion. Abdullah said: This is the main reason which caused you to be placed in the position of the residents of paradise, and I am not able to have these characteristics [1].
