It is narrated from the Prophet of Islam (PBUH) who explained about the characteristics of leaders at the time when conditions for the appearance [of Imam Mahdi (AJ)] are being prepared:

There will be leaders who will dominate you and will take possession of your sustenance. And when they talk to you, they lie. They will not be satisfied with you unless you praise their inappropriate acts and acknowledge their lies [1].
