Sheikh Keshi (RA) narrated from Zaid Shaham: I was with a group of people from Kufah and we went to see Imam Sadeq (AS).

Jaafar ibn Afan entered and Imam (AS) greeted him and he sat next to Imam (AS). Imam Sadeq (AS) said: I have been told that you recite eulogy for martyrdom of Imam Hussain (AS). Jaafar said: Yes, and Imam (AS) asked him to recite. Jaafar started and Imam Sadeq (AS) and all the people started crying, and then Imam (AS) said: Swear to God that the angels are present here and heard your eulogy and cried more than us, at this hour paradise have become Wajib for you with all its blessings, and your sins are forgiven. Then Imam (AS) asked: O’ Jaffar do you want me to tell you more of what I said? Jaffar replied: Yes; O’ my master. Imam Sadeq (AS) added: Whoever writes a eulogy/poem and cries and cause others to cry for Imam Hussain (AS), God will forgive and make paradise Wajib for such a person [1].
