Traditional sermon reading of Imam Reza’s (A.S.) martyrdom night was held in sadness and grief of pilgrims and servants in Inqelab Islami Courtyard of the Razavi Holy Shrine.

Sermon reading of Imam Reza’s (A.S.) martyrdom night was held last night after Maqrib and Isha prayers and under rain of divine mercy in Inqelab Islami Courtyard of the Razavi Holy Shrine.

Having light tulip candles in their hands, Razavi Holy Shrine’s servants made a circle around Inqelab Islami Courtyard. To observe customs of hosting, Astan Quds Razavi’s grand custodian attended this spiritual ceremony and welcomed all the participants.

Razavi servants stood in regular lines formed around Inqelab Islami Courtyard and expressed their condolences to the holy sanctuary of the 12th Imam (A.S.) by performing their special eulogy ceremonies.

In continuation of the ritual, the oration of the martyrdom night of Imam Reza (A.S.) was recited by Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Mahdavi. The ritual includes some testimonies regarding oneness of sacred essence of God, praise to the unique God, salutations and regards to the Islam Prophet (S.A.W.) and infallible Imams (A.S.), and desiring for health and longevity of the Supreme Leader.

Following this sermon reading and eulogy ceremony performed by Amir Aref, all mournful pilgrims and servants of the shrine joined to Mahdi Rasouli’s monody and wept on this great affliction.

It is worth mentioning that grand custodianships of Holy Shrines of Karbala, Kazemein, and Samarra and other holy shrines in the Islamic world were present in this ceremony.
