An official delegation from the International Committee of the Red Cross consisted of the vice-president of the committee Kreg Muller, the consultant of the committee in the North of Africa and Middle East Omar Maki, the head of translators' department Nicola Abu Murad, and the head of the public relations of the branch of the committee in Najaf Ahmed Tweej.

The Employees of the Public Relations Department and the Media Department took them round the archeological and the historical sites of the holy shrine.

"This was my first visitation to this holy place. This place is heavenly and spiritual. I was hoping and waiting for this visit since a long time," Muller stated.

At the conclusion of their visit, they commended the warm hospitality of the holy shrine.
