Commemorating the martyrdom of Imam Hassan al-Askari, the Secretariat General of the Imam Ali (PBUH) Holy Shrine logistically supports the al-Askari Holy Shrine in an attempt to serving the pilgrims in this sad ziyarah.

"The Secretary General instructed the departments of the holy shrine to participate in commemorating the martyrdom of Imam Hassan al-Askari. About a hundred employees went to Samarra to participate in this event," Mr. Fa'iq al-Shimmary, a member in the Board of Directors, stated to the Media Center of the Holy Shrine.

"We made an official committee headed by Sayyid Isa al-Khersan, the head of the Hospitality Department, and the membership of the officials of the Security, Machinery, Service Affairs, and Volunteers' Affairs departments," he explained.

The committee provided 25 vehicles for transporting both the pilgrims and the necessary stuffs for logistically supporting this ziyarah. "We prepared 20 coasters for transporting pilgrims, 2 buses for transporting our employees, and two refrigerator trucks," the head of the Machinery Department stated. The media department and the channel of the Holy Shrine got ready to broadcast the event. The hospitality department began distributing about twenty thousand meals three times per day let alone the interval distributions of fruit, juice cans, etc.
