Naofomi Hashimoto, the new Japanese ambassador to Iraq visited the Imam Ali (PBUH) Holy Shrine. Mr. Fa'iq al-Shimmary, the member of the Board of Directors, received him hospitably.

"It is my first visit to the Holy Shrine. I express my deep liking and respect to this spiritual and holy place. It is astonishing how multitudes of pilgrims from around the globe head toward this holy place," the ambassador said, "I wish we can establish mutual cooperation between the Holy Shrine and the embassy," he concluded his statement.
