Iranians will celebrate the ten-day Karamat festival starting from the first day of the lunar Hijri month of Dhul Qaeda (June 23).
The Karamat celebrations mark the ten days between the birth anniversaries of Hazrat Masoumeh (SA) and Imam Reza (AS), the daughter and son of the 7th Shia Imam.
A council set up to coordinate the activities marking the anniversary has announced the names of the days of the festival.
Celebrations marking the festival were held in cities in Iran and other countries different parts of the world last year.
However, most of the events planned for this year are expected to be held online due to the restrictions imposed to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
