The Museum of Imam Hussein Holy Shrine displayed the replica of the Holy Grille at the famous 19th-century British landmark – Marble Arch.
This is while the Muslim community in the British capital was reviving the mournful day of Ashura, which marks the martyrdom of Imam Hussein.
“The Iraqi-made replica grille is identical to the actual grille of Imam Hussein in Karbala,” said museum curator Alaa al-Deen.
Thousands of Muslims and non-Muslims stood together to commemorate the day through reciting eulogies and poetry.
