The international group of MC Group in Germany is considering launching of the religious tourism to introduce Shiite culture.

Iranian Counselor in Germany, Seyyed Ali Mojani visited Harald Zulauf, head of the MC Group advertising group, and spoke on joint cultural activities.

Zulauf reminded three of his trips to Iran and his talks with Iranian State Department officials and the Iranian Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization officials, during which he had presented three plans for cooperation with goal of Nation branding.

He added “However, my calls and attempts to talk with government institutions and even private institutions in Iran have been in vain.”

Zulauf stated that “Based on the evaluation and discussions conducted with colleagues in Germany, in light of the activities that Iran’s cultural advisory has been introducing in recent years, including the publication of some works and books, as well as meeting and dispatch groups of German educators in Iran, I have been discussing why not paying attention or pursuing affairs in Iran.”

Mojani said “along with traditional Iranian tourism in Isfahan and Shiraz, the Shiite tourism line which has bases in Najaf and Iraq, and one of its foundations in Mashhad, Iran, can be attractive ideas for Iranian investment institutions and religious activists who are trying to attract tourists seeking to find out what the Shiism is.”

In the final section of the meeting, Zulauf stressed that “This offer is not complicated and unattainable for us. Currently, hundreds of thousands of tourists visit only the Sinai Peninsula annually. These tourists are generally religious pilgrims who are struggling to pay attention to this region. Their side stations, the Sharm El Sheikh area in Egypt or Dead sea in Jordan, are the only backup sites to travel to Sinai.
