In cooperation with the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali (PBUH), the University of Kufa held a poetic celebration on the occasion of the first millennium of the Commander of the Faithful (PBUH).

Al-Kaabi said in a statement to Media Center, "On the occasion of the 1400th anniversary of the martyrdom of the Commander of the Faithful (PBUH), a classical Arabic poetry celebration was held. A group of poets and chanters recited their poems expressing their love to Imam Ali (PBUH).
