As Ramadan fast ends, Muslims from across the world, including in Iran celebrate Eid al-Fitr by gathering to offer Eid al-Fitr prayer.
Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Afghanistan and Turkey celebrated Eid on Tuesday, whereas Iran, Pakistan, Oman, Egypt, Syria, Jordan, Indonesia and Malaysia mark the occasion on Wednesday, press tv told.
Millions of Iranians across the country shortly after the sunrise on Friday, turned out en masse throughout the country to take part in the Eid al-Fitr mass prayers, the end of the holy Muslim fasting month of Ramadan.
Turkey’s Muslims pray during the first day of Shawwal month, Eid al-Fitr, which marks the end of the holy fasting month of Ramadan at the Suleymaniye Mosque in Istanbul, Aljazeera reported.
Muslim worshippers pray to celebrate Eid al-Fitr in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo; Moscow, Russia; Abuja, Nigeria; Tripoli , Libya; Mumbai, India and other part of the world.
