The 15th edition of the Quran and Etrat exhibition of Mashhad will not be organized in one place unlike previous years.
This is according to Mohammad Hosseinzadeh, he director general of Khorasan Razavi Province’s Culture and Islamic Guidance Department, speaking at a press conference in the northeastern Iranian holy city on Tuesday.
He said 14 locations in different parts of Mashhad, including one at the city’s permanent fairground, will host the Quranic and religious event.
The move is aimed at facilitating people’s access to the exhibition wherever in the city they live, he stated.
He noted that the exhibition is being held again this year after it was suspended for two year due to the coronavirus restrictions.
It is slated for the 8th to 17th day of the holy month (April 10-19), and will be open to visitors from 6:30 PM to 10:30 PM, the official stated.
He added that similar exhibitions are also planned in 15 other cities of Khorasan Razavi Province in Ramadan.
Every year in the holy month, Quranic exhibitions are organized by the Iranian Culture Ministry. They include the Tehran International Quran Exhibition, which is aimed at promoting Quranic concepts and developing Quranic activities.
It showcases the latest Quranic achievements in the country as well as a variety of products dedicated to the promotion of the Holy Book.
