Coincident with the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Jawad (A.S.), 150 Lebanese students attended the Razavi Holy Shrine.
This group of students by presence in the Shrine of the compassionate Imam (A.S.) and a chance for pilgrimage participated in the special programs hosted by the Non-Iranian Pilgrims Office of Astan Quds Razavi at Qadir Portico.
Shrine tour, visits to the museums of Astan Quds Razavi, eating at the Imam Reza’s (A.S.) Guesthouse, conferring cultural packages including images of the Holy Shrine, books, CDs, etc., were among the other programs that were implemented for this group of pilgrims.
Mohammad Amer, a student who accompanied the group to the Razavi Holy Shrine said, “The pilgrimage of each pilgrim depends on the amount of knowledge that they receive, whenever I attend the Holy Shrine I gain more and this makes the pilgrimage much more enjoyable for me.”
“During pilgrimage, I will put aside all my rational and material concerns, and I will only resort to God and the Infallible Imams (A.S.), and I also remember all those who love pilgrimage and I ask Imam Reza (A.S.) for an opportunity of pilgrimage for them,” the pilgrim added.
“Resorting and intermediary is the belief of all the followers and lovers of Infallible Imams (A.S.) and everyone expresses this kind of dedication in a certain way. One goes to Karbala on foot and the other chooses the Hajj; however, the pilgrimage of Mashhad al-Reza (A.S.) is a wish of all Shi’ites,” he said, stating that Imam Reza (A.S.) is the greatest blessing for Shi’ites.
Ahmad Shokri, another pilgrim, pointing out that the Razavi Holy Shrine is always attended for the Muslims and in particular the Shi’ites said, “We, Shi’ites believe that we are closer to God in the holy places like the Holy Shrine of Imam Reza (A.S.) and the prayers here are granted quicker.”
“Razavi Holy Shrine holds numerous cultural and spiritual programs for pilgrims, especially Arabic speaking, whose content, manner of implementation and location are very suitable,” he expressed.
