The Karbala Heritage Center of the Department of Islamic and Human Knowledge Affairs at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine directed invitations to researchers and specialists to participate in the first international scientific conference to be held under the auspices of the General Secretariat of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine under the slogan "Our heritage is our identity" under the title:
"Karbala heritage and its position in the Islamic library" for the period (7-8th November 2019), corresponding to 10 - 11 Rabi 'Al Awwal 1441 AH, provided that research is within the Karbala heritage and in the following axes:
Quran science and interpretation.
Modern science, men.
Science of the doctrine and its origins.
Philosophy, speech and logic.
Arabic language sciences and literature.
History, translations and biographies.
Heritage Applied Science.
Karbala manuscripts (study, investigation, criticism).
Religious schools.
Catalogs and bibliography.
The conditions for participation are:
1 - The researcher must adhere to the methodology of the universally recognized scientific research. The research must be written in one of the two languages (Arabic or English).
2- The investigated texts of the manuscripts of Karbala are accepted when they are verified according to the accepted curriculum. Each of them should include an introduction to a study in which the researcher will explain the approved method and the specifications of the approved copy and its source.
3- The researcher shall submit his research printed on paper (A4) (one copy) and on CD. The research should be written no less than 5000 pages by Simplified Arabic font and size 14.
4- Presenting a summary of the research in Arabic and English (Not more than 350 words).
5 - Deadline for delivery of research in full on 7/8/2019.
6.Accepted research will be awarded a financial reward.
7.The Karbala Heritage Center shall cover travel and subsistence expenses for participants from outside Iraq and residence for researchers from inside Iraq.
8.Research and investigations are published in the quarterly magazine Karbala heritage.
