It is narrated from the Prophet of Islam (PBUH) who said: There is no personality without humility and courtesy; meaning, humbleness and courteous behaviour give the human being the personality in human societies [1].

It is also narrated from Imam Sajjad (AS) who said: For a person from Quraysh, and for the one who is Arab, there is no personality without humility. Meaning, the axis of personality in human society is humility and courteous behaviour [2]. Both narrations point to being humble as the axis of the personality in human societies [3].
