Prominent Muslim clerics and elites will exchange views on the different aspects of Ghadir Khum event in an international conference to be held by Iran’s major Islamic unity center on Monday.

World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought has scheduled to hold international conference in the wake of the major Shia occasion, Ghadir Eid, with the theme of “Qadir Issue from the Viewpoint of Denominations” on Monday.

Muslim elites and thinkers from different countries will discuss their views on three axes in the upcoming conference to be held on Monday July 25th.

The axes to be discussed at the international conference include: Qadir in the sources and thoughts of Shia and Sunni theologians, Qadir as a sign for continuation of rule of Islam in society and also the life and character of Imam Ali (AS), the Axis of unity.

The conference will be broadcasted live on Live.taqrib.ir at 3:00 pm Tehran time.

Iran’s World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought has invited elites and thinkers from Lebanon, Iraq, Pakistan, Afghanistan, India and South Africa.

The conference is held in the wake of Eid al-Qadir which marks the anniversary of Qadir Khum event when Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) appointed his cousin and son-in-law as his successor and Imam (leader) of the Muslim nation.
