"Foreign tourists have a special interest in the Holy Shrine of Imam Reza (A.S.) and observing this place is really fascinating for most of them", a French tourist said.
According to Astan News, Nicola Walkman, the French tourist, who has chosen Mashhad for his summer visit, said, "I've been married for a year and during this time I have traveled to many European countries and become familiar with their culture, customs and traditions."
"This year, along with my husband, we decided to travel to Asia, so we got information about Iran and its cities, and inspired by descriptions of some friends about Iran, we chose this country as the best travel option", she added.
"Contrary to our belief, Iran is a safe and peaceful country and its people are kind and hospitable; most of them are always smiling and very intimate, while some media tendentiously show this country unsafe to people", she said.
She described Mashhad as a beautiful city with many attractions and said, "We could not imagine the Holy Shrine to be so magnificent and attractive. Many photographs of architecture and artistic works of Muslim artists, as well as museums, courtyards and porticos, and especially people's worship, were shared with others."
The French tourist continued, "Iran is the best country I have ever traveled to, and I would advise other friends to travel to this country and the city of Mashhad, although it is far from other Iranian tourist cities, but there is a marvelous attraction that would be memorable to any tourist."
Also, an Indian Muslim couple who accompanied these tourists from France to the Razavi Holy Shrine, held their wedding ceremony in the Dar al-Rahmah portico in a program that was managed by the management of Non-Iranian Pilgrims Affairs and at the end of the ceremony, they received blessed gifts by the office.
