Imam Reza holy shrine commemorates Dahw al-Ard, 25th of Zul-Qa'dah coinciding June 25, 2022, with participation of thousands of pilgrims from around the world.

Addressing people in Imam Khomeini portico on advantages of piety in every one’s life, Hoj. Seyyed Mahdi Haerinejad said: “Piety is a very great asset. A pious man is always vigilant in both personal and social aspects; he does not make mistakes and all his actions are based on orders of Islam, therefore”.

Hoj. Haerinejad went on to say: “Thinking is one of the key ways to reach the position of pious people. Those who think about consequences of evil deeds will become pious”.

Recitation of Aminollah supplication and performance of Shrine Minarets anthem group were other programs of the ceremony.

Dahw al-Ard is an important day in the Islamic calendar. Muslims widely believe that it was on this day when first parts of land appeared following retreat of the world’s seas. The occasion is commemorated by Muslims every year.
