IMAM Commemorates Lady Zaynab’s Birth Anniversary

On Saturday, December 28, 2019, IMAM organized an event for women and children to celebrate the birth anniversary of Sayyida Zaynab (p) in Dearborn, MI. The program began with a recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by a speech from Ms. Roqaya Younes. In her speech, Ms. Younes talked about the life of Sayyida Zaynab (p) and the importance of following her teachings to become good parents and righteous citizens, who take a leading role in building a community.

After her speech, a group of community members recited several poems and Anasheed that paid tribute to the Sayyida Zaynab (p). The event also included a special program for children ages 4-10.
