While Muslims in western countries are discriminated and oppressed, the French government halted the activities of the four Shiite religious centers under the pretext of defending the resistance movement and the oppressed Palestinian people.

The French government announced on Wednesday that the "Al-Zahra Center," the French Shiite Federation, "the Anti-Zionist Party" and the "Marianne Network" are closed.

French Interior Minister has accused these four centers of trying to legitimize what "armed jihad" is called.

Meanwhile, French media reported that French authorities believed that the members of the four centers supported organizations like the Lebanese Hezbollah, Hamas and the Palestine Islamic Jihad.

Rapprochement with Iran has been claimed by Paris to try to exert pressure on the managers of these centers.
