Manager of pilgrims’ health in Razavi Khorasan Province announced on entrance of five hundred thousand on-foot pilgrims and around five million pilgrims in Mashhad during last ten days of Safar.
Today’s noon and on the sideline of his visit to the Razavi Holy Shrine’s medical services, Seyyed Morteza Ehtesham Far had an interview with Astan News reporter and referred to the large number of lovers of Imam Reza (A.S.) in Mashhad during last ten days of Safar. He reminded, "Estimations suggest that five hundred thousand on-foot pilgrims and around five million pilgrims came to holy city of Mashhad on the occasion of last ten days of Safar".
Appreciating Astan Quds Razai’s medical services, he added, “Fortunately, with respect to the dense population of pilgrims at Razavi Holy Shrine, the necessary structure has been provided in a very good way". He also said, "Opening emergency ward at the Holy Shrine has taken a heavy burden off the shoulder of the province’s medical services wing".
Ehtesham Far stressed, "Our colleagues who are graduates of Mashhad’s University of Medical Sciences have fortunately endowed a large portion of power and knowledge in the form of medical services for the Imam Reza (A.S.). The project known as “health servants” has added to the strength of the relation between Astan Quds Razai and university of medical sciences".
Referring to the readiness of twenty emergency bases around Holy Shrine during these days, he stated, "Fortunately, people of Mashhad and lovers of Hazrat Reza (A.S.) are so generous in endowing their knowledge for that Imam (A.S.)".
Ehtesham Far said, "The holy act of endowment has be established in our society as a culture. We have to consider the area of treatment and health as the most necessary areas for allocating incomes of endowments because this great tradition can be used for launching needed infrastructures and even for equipping medical centers".
