Twenty faculty members at the Hama University of Syria visited the cultural centers of Astan Quds Razavi.
Twenty faculty members at the Hama University of Syria, at noon today, visited Razavi Islamic University, Central Library and Central Museum of Astan Quds Razavi.
The professors of Hama University in Syria, while visiting the Razavi University of Islamic Sciences got familiar with the activities of this educational center and specialized departments of the library of Razavi Islamic University.
Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Ali Khayyat, the scientific advisor to the Dean of the Razavi University of Islamic Sciences said on the sidelines of the visit, “Several characteristics of the Razavi Islamic University attracted the attention of the professors of Hama University of Syria.
Teaching university and seminary courses at a scientific center, a cohesive system used in courses, the cleanness of the university site and having a strong infrastructure at the university library were some of the points that were attractive to the visiting delegation.”
“The presence of university professors from foreign countries could contribute to the increase of relations and interactions of Razavi University of Islamic Sciences,” he stated.
Following in the visit of the professors of Hama University of Syria, Abolfazl Hassanabadi, the director of the documents and press affairs of the Libraries, Museums and Documents Center of Astan Quds Razavi, described the history of establishing the Razavi Holy Shrine’s building in three historical periods, answering the visitors’ questions.
The Central Library of Astan Quds Razavi was the next destination for the faculty members of the Hama University of Syria. The professors of Hama University visited library and got acquainted with the various sections of the cultural center, such as the foreign-language bookshop hall, the researchers’ hall and the manner of activity of the close shelf hall.
Mojtaba Bazrafshan Moghaddam, head of the Astan Quds Razavi’s Libraries, Museums and Documents Center, on the sidelines of the visit of faculty members at Hama University of Syria to the Central Library of Astan Quds Razavi told our correspondent, “The visit of foreign academics to the cultural and historical centers of Astan Quds Razavi can help increase their understanding of the Iranian-Islamic civilization.”
“The visit of the Astan Quds Razavi Library could lead to an increase in scientific and cultural exchanges, because the quality of services and the volume of scientific information in this area are of special interest to the people of science and knowledge,” he continued.
“On the path to scientific authority, while introducing the exquisite works we have at our disposal, we are able to provide the grounds for them to be a studied. In the case of manuscripts, parliamentary arrangements are being done for interested foreign scholars to use the capacity of existing manuscript documents in the Astan Quds Razavi Library as a research opportunity,” Bazrafshan asserted.
The faculty members at Hama University of Syria went on to the Qur’an and Exquisites Gallery Museum of Astan Quds Razavi and observed the art and historical works and objects in the museum.
Mohammad Ziad Mamdouh Sultan, the head of the Hama University of Syria, at the end of the visit to the cultural centers and sacred places of Astan Quds Razavi, in a conversation with our correspondent stated, “This is the first time I attended the Razavi Holy Shrine along with the professors of the Syrian University. A remarkable point in the Razavi Holy Shrine is the presence of millions of pilgrims in a very clean and orderly place wherein pilgrimage is managed in a special order. Security and peacefulness are very valuable in a place where pilgrims come from different nations.”
“According to the historical and artistic works of the Museum of Astan Quds Razavi, Iranian and Islamic culture has very distinctive concepts,” he added.
“The number of books and documents available at the Astan Quds Razavi Library and Document Center and the establishment of a researchers’ hall with high levels of facilities are scientific advantages that could be the basis of scientific interactions with the lecturers of Syrian universities” the head of the Hama University of Syria expressed.
At the end of the visit, the faculty members at Hama University of Syria joined the munificent banquet of Imam Reza (A.S.).
