The holy shrine is commemorating Imam Reza’s birth anniversary by giving charity food for the first time in Imam Hassan Courtyard.
According to Amin Behnam, the Deputy of Pilgrim Services, the holy shrine has been set to serve pilgrims with charity foods for dinner in Imam Hassan Courtyard over the celebration period, started on June 7, with four thousand meals.
The program will be going on until June 11, the eve of Imam Reza’s birth anniversary, and overall some 20,000 pilgrims will be served.
Stating that the invitation cards would be given out by the holy shrine servants in different courtyards, Behnam said: “The serving process will be different from that during the holy month of Ramadan, and the pilgrims will sit to have the meals instead of receiving food packages”.
