The Iranian Cultural Center in Uganda has published an article in several media outlets of the African country featuring the Holy Prophet’s (PBUH) characteristics.
According to the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, the article was published on the occasion of Eid Al-Mabaath.
“The Importance of Mabaath, Character of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and the Special Status of Imam Ali (AS)” is the title of the article.
It was published in online African magazines and newspapers as well as pages of the Islamic organizations of the country in social media networks such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, WhatsApp, Telegram, etc.
The article was also emailed to more than 400 intellectuals, academics and Muslim and Christian figures of the country.
It starts with translation and interpretation of the verse 157 of Surah al-A’raaf of the Holy Quran which elaborates on the event of Mabaath and describes it as one of the most important events in human history.
The article continues with translation and interpretation of the first few verses of Surah ‘Alaq clarifying the revelation of Quran on the nights of Qadr and during 23 years afterwards, the prophet of Islam as the mercy for the whole world, and predictions about the last prophet in the sacred books of other religions.
Some of the characteristics of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) as a perfect human and his special care for Imam Ali (AS) and training the Imam as the successor of the prophet of Islam are also among the themes of the article.
Mabath is the day of Bi’tha, which means selection of prophet by God for guidance of people.
Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was chosen as messenger of God at the age of forty in the Hira cave in Mount Nur (close to Mecca).
According to historians, this great event happened on Monday on the 27th of Rajab in the fortieth year after ‘Am al-Fil and 13 years before Hijra (June 28, 610).
