Astan Quds Razavi has planned to change the name of Razavi Courtyard into Holy Prophet (pbuh) courtyard in a special ceremony on the occasion of the anniversary of prophetic mission of Mohammad (pbuh), the Messenger of Allah.

The ceremony will have AQR chief custodian in attendance and the renaming will be done with the purpose of honoring the unique title of the Prophet (pbuh). The new Holy Prophet (pbuh) courtyard will become a new platform for publicizing pure Muhammadan Islam.

Holding different national, regional and international forums and developing cultural ties with different groups of people particularly truth seekers in Europe, AQR has previously taken steps to that end. Now, with this important renaming, the organization will expand its activities in this area.

Naming one of the courtyards of Imam Reza (AS) holy shrine after Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) has been a longstanding demand of pilgrims and people of Mashhad. Following expert reviews, it was decided to rename Razavi courtyard after the Prophet (pbuh) concurrent with the anniversary of his prophetic mission or Bi’that. The move will not be confined to mere renaming, but it will turn the courtyard into a place for publicizing pure Islam introduced by Prophet Mohammad (pbuh).

From March 11, 2021, the biggest gathering of the lovers of Imam Reza (AS) will be held in a courtyard which has been embellished with the blessed name of the Holy Prophet (pbuh). This becomes still more important given the fact that Imam Reza (AS) holy shrine is hosting around 30 million people annually including four million foreign pilgrims and tourists. Each of these people will be Iran’s cultural and religious ambassador to the nations around the world.
