Who should not be hopeful of the hereafter?

Imam Ali (AS) said:

Who should not be hopeful of the hereafter?

Do not be of those who is hopeful of the hereafter without righteous deeds, and delays repenting by having long lasting wishes; talks like pious ones but behaves like world lovers, if blessings are granted to him/her, will not be fulfilled, and is not content in depravity. Whatever is granted to him/her, does not give thanks and whatever is left and has not reached him/her, still wants more. Discourages others but he/she has no fear; orders others to obey, but he/she does not obey commands. Likes good-doers, but his/her behaviour are not like them; does not like sinners but he/she is one of them. And by committing many sins, does not like to die, but insists on whatever makes dying unpleasant. If is inflicted with illness, will be regretful, and if is healthy, will be occupied with amusements [1].
