A carpet of silk and gold

This thick carpet is 7 meters long and 3 meters wide, which Shah Abbas Safavi, the most powerful king of the Safavid dynasty, had donated to Imam Ali's shrine. It is said that in 1950, an expert from Iran while visiting this carpet, declared its value to be half a million Iraqi dinars. This carpet is woven using silk and gold.
